ウェブサイトをリニューアルしました
NAIST同窓生の皆さま、教職員、学生の皆さま、コロナ禍で大変な状況ですがいかがお過ごしでしょうか。この度、NAIST同窓会ウェブサイトをリニューアルいたしましたのでお知らせいたします。見やすく、分かりやすくなるように努めました。今後も、多言語対応などの機能強化に取り組んでまいります。ご意見、ご要望、さらなる改善のアイデアなどございましたらぜひお寄せください。
今般のコロナ禍は、我々一人ひとりが地球規模で密接につながりあっていることや、我々が強固だと信じていた現代社会が実はもろくてか弱いことを、図らずも深く実感する機会となりました。大変困難な状況が続いておりますが、この危機は平時ではできない大きな改革ができるまたとない機会ともいえます。
NAISTでも様々な改革が進んでいます。オンライン講義や教職員の在宅勤務制度がはじまっています。学生募集説明会は、オンライン化によりむしろこれまでより多くの参加者が集まっています。入試のオンライン化やVRを活用したユニークなバーチャルオープンキャンパスも検討が進んでいます。
一人ひとりがそれぞれの立場で智慧を出し合って、より良い社会を実現できるよう協力していければと思います。人々がつながりあい、結束することがこれまで以上に重要になっており、NAIST同窓会もその点において、大きな役割があると確信しています。
皆さまの健康とますますのご活躍を祈念しております。今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

The website of the NAIST Alumni Association has been renewed
April 26, 2020
Dear NAIST alumni, faculty, staff, and students, how are you doing in this difficult situation caused by the coronaviruses. We are pleased to announce the renewal of the website of the NAIST Alumni Association. We have tried to make it easy to see and understand. We will continue to work on enhancing functions such as multilingual support in the future. If you have any comments, requests, or ideas for further improvement, please let us know.
The recent coronavirus pandemic provided us with an opportunity to realize deeply and unintentionally that every individual is closely connected to each other on a global scale, and that our modern society, which we believed to be strong, is actually fragile and weak. Although the situation will continue to be very difficult for a while, the crisis is also a unique opportunity for major reforms that cannot be made in normal times.
Various reforms are underway at NAIST. Online lectures for students and a teleworking system for faculty and staff have begun. Student recruitment briefings are made online and now being attended more than before. Online entrance examinations and a unique virtual open campus with VR technology are also under consideration.
I hope that we can work together to realize a better society by sharing the wisdom of each individual in his or her own position. It is more important than ever for people to be connected and united, and I am convinced that the NAIST Alumni Association has a major role to play in this regard.
